Gameplay
Your chosen display name, answers, rewrites and bans are public. A first-party HttpOnly cookie identifies your browser for gameplay and purchase recovery for up to 30 days. Board rounds reset approximately every 24 hours; paid active bans and lifetime bans persist. Do not put private or sensitive information in public answers.
Purchases
We store your browser’s random player identifier, display name, order reference, selected word, immutable price and eligibility details, payment reference, reservation, fulfillment and refund status. Dodo collects your billing details, email and payment information. Our backend verifies payment responses but does not store card details or copy billing profiles into our purchase ledger. Records needed for accounting, disputes and purchase fulfillment are retained as required for those purposes.
Analytics
Microsoft Clarity helps us understand visits, clicks, scrolling and site usage through analytics and session recordings. The board and dialogs are marked for content masking. Analytics events use fixed action names; we do not attach player names, submitted answers or purchased words. Cookies and available tracking depend on consent and browser settings. Microsoft processes data under its Privacy Statement.
Service providers
Netlify hosts the website and API. Railway hosts UNSAY’s database. Dodo Payments processes checkout as merchant of record. Microsoft Clarity provides analytics. These providers may process request metadata such as IP addresses and browser details in delivering their services.
Your requests
Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information associated with your browser or purchase. We may need proof, such as an order receipt. Some records may need to be retained for accounting, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Public content may have been copied by other visitors.
